Company History
Hutcheson Engineering Products Inc. was established by Don and Doug Hutcheson in 1986 with the primary market being commercial HVAC pumping and control equipment. Their combined experience soon elevated them to the top tier of pump suppliers for HVAC contractors across Iowa and Nebraska. A reputation for accuracy, attention to detail and accountability was soon the industry definition for the growing Hutcheson organization which expanded its professional business philosophy into the industrial market by 1988.
In 1991 Hutcheson had relocated to their new facility in Omaha Nebraska with an expanded staff to support its rapid territory growth which by now had stretched out across all of Iowa and Nebraska. The Hutcheson product line-up had also grown to include dozens of industrial related pumping lines and associated accessories to accommodate the wide variety of industrial applications while maintaining their original "attention to detail".
Today Hutcheson has evolved into multi-market, multi-line pump and meter distributor with a broad line of flow related accessories to compliment their customer application requirements. The attention to detail that served as the catalyst for growth in the company's infancy has continued to be the driving mandate for their continued success. Hutcheson Engineering Products has a very strong network of outside sales professionals covering every corner of Iowa and Nebraska. From the richly industrial environment of eastern Iowa to the remote but equally valuable customer requirements of the Nebraska panhandle, Hutcheson has expanded and perfected its customer appeal to a higher level than its competition.
